
Between October 24 and November 4, 2022, the National Integrity Authority initiated a control procedure on the legal regime of assets and personal interests regarding a Member of Parliament, a control procedure on the legal regime of incompatibility regarding a civil servant with special status within the Briceni Police Inspectorate and a control procedure on the legal regime of conflicts of interest regarding a high school principal from the Telenești district.
In the Act of finding, regarding a senior non-commissioned officer within the General Inspectorate of Police of the Ministry of Interior, unjustified wealth of over 269 thousand lei was established and the case was submitted to the court to order its confiscation.
The integrity inspectors verified 178 declarations of assets and personal interests of the subjects of the declaration, submitted for the year 2021. Two contravention cases were initiated on the aspect of the late submission of declarations of assets and personal interests, targeting a judge of the Chisinau District Court and a mayor from Dubăsari district. Also, two contravention cases were initiated on the aspect of not submitting declarations of assets and personal interests, targeting a councilor of the local public administration from the Cantemir district and a kindergarten director from the Florești district.
Two ex-local councilors from the Ocnița and Taraclia districts and three local councilors from the Orhei, Soroca and Taraclia districts were fined for not submitting declarations of assets and personal interests, in the total amount of 13 thousand lei.
The representatives of ANI trained about 70 civil servants with special status from the municipalities of Chisinau, Balti and Cahul and about 40 judges and civil servants from the Edineț Court.
32 court hearings were attended. 110 telephone consultations were granted, including 31 to the Institutional Information Line. 38 Integrity Certificates were issued.
